All of the leads and connectors in this section are designed to split 1 stereo signal from a headphone socket into 2 or more stereo signals, allowing two students to listen to the same sound source at once. When a stereo signal from a headphone socket is split into two or more, the resulting volume on each headphone is reduced, making it important that the compatible headphones are used.
