A selection of good quality, but basic portable keyboards, with built-in speakers and amplification, suitable for those on the very first rung of the learning ladder.   These models are NOT touch-sensitive, which makes them more suitable for young beginners who haven't yet developed strong finger muscles.   

   Although some of the instruments may have a MIDI socket for connecting these models to computers, some are not compatible with the industry standard GM (General MIDI) protocol, so their use with computer music software (Cubase, Music Ace, Sibelius for example) is limited.
