In Synths Level 1, we have selected from a range of top manufacturers 'entry-level' models, meaning they are good quality affordable models, whilst being easy to operate. These generally won't have built-in speakers, so headphones or amplification will be required to hear the range of sounds. Whilst these are expected to have wierd and wonderful synth voices built-in, you may also be surprised to know that they also have some pretty authentic 'real world' voices too, from pianos, through to orchestral sounds!

In our gallery of Synths - Level 2, you will see professional 'Workstation' models which bring together in one unit a powerful synthesiser keyboard plus extensive recording and state-of-the-art performance features. Some feature varying octave lengths, to suit all level of players and performers on any stage, but all of these amazing models can be used as the 'hub' of your school or home studio, especially when connected to your favourite DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) software.
