Software recording programs, usually called sequencers, are designed to record your music and save the data to your computer. These budget programs are now all MIDI and Audio recorders, and extremely powerful they are too. However, there may be some restrictions as to the number of audio tracks available, linked to the hardware configuration of your computer, in particular the processor power and the type of soundcard installed.
