The Eb clarinet is very tiny compared to the Bb instrument.  It produces a bright and distinctive sound and is often heard in concert bands, ensembles and clarinet choirs.  

  This instrument requires the player to have a firm and controlled embouchure as the player is often faced with fast passages that also require dexterous fingers!
