The treble recorder is the stage where recorder playing becomes a little more difficult.  Both the descant and tenor recorder are in the key of C, but the treble (alto) is in the key of F, which requires all new fingering.   With a bit of practice, you can then switch to either the Sopranino or the Bass, as they are also in the key of F.
