For those who wish to have a little more control over their music software 'plugins', the compact Alesis V61 offers a wealth of realtime controls knobs, slide, wheels and sensitive pads for manipulating and triggering the sounds from your computer when recording.

Great for use with popular music software Sibelius, Garage band, Sibelius, Logic and more, this model also offers an improved action over it's little brother (the Q61), with 'box' keys which look and feel that much more solid.

With a five octave (61 key) keyboard and with eight assignable 'trigger' pads (velocity and pressure sensitive), 4 assignable buttons and 4 realtime control knobs, the V61 is class compliant. It certainly looks cool too, whilst important additions such as an octave shift button is featured along with pitch/mod wheels.

USB bus powered, it comes with an MPC Beats music production software bundle to start creating right out of the box. MPC Beats is the fully featured, beat-making software based on the legendary MPC workflow to quickly make great sounding beats. Additionally, the V49 MKII also includes easy point-and-click MIDI editor software that enables customizing the MIDI messages that each of its controls send, as well as fine tuning the key and pad response to your personal taste.
