Delivery Costs

PLEASE NOTE: We do not show here an overnight service, as we are geared to providing an efficient service to large numbers of school orders, and these are handled in strict chronological order. 

We provide an indication on the "average" delivery times for every product, and this is a guideline only.  On many occasions, when we quote "7-14 days" this can be as little as 24 hours, or sometimes 15-28 days.  Please treat this as an indication only.

HOWEVER, we do our best to accommodate urgent requirements, and are often able to arrange "date specific" deliveries if your order is placed over the telephone, when we can first double-check stock availability before charging your card.  We rarely charge any extra costs for this.
CURRENT DELIVERY COSTS
Minimum charge for Postal package  £5.00 Envelope and small jiffy bags which can be posted through letterboxes, delivered by the standard Royal Mail service.
Single carton under 30 kgs £8.00

This standard cost will cover most portable keyboards, guitars, brass or woodwind instruments, delivered by our partners (usually via UPS or TNT) and tracked in transit.
Two parcels or one over 1m long  £12.00 Usually portable stage pianos, cellos, tubas and other large instruments, delivered by our partners (usually via TNT or UPS) and tracked in transit.
Multi: 2-3 cartons under 30 kgs  £15.00 For example a drum kit, or 10 violins, or three portable keyboards, delivered by couriers and tracked in transit.
3-5 cartons under 30 kgs  £25.00 This standard cost will cover a quantity of 10+ keyboards, 20-30 brass or woodwind instruments, delivered by our partners (usually UPS or TNT) and tracked in transit.
Extra bulky items over 30 kgs  £35.00

For example, most mid-size Clavinova pianos, timpani drums, double bass or a pallet-load of djembe drums or a samba band.

NOTE; Grand pianos, large uprights, top-of-the-range digital pianos and orchestral double basses are usually more expensive, but it depends on your location and access.  Please ask our Advisory team for a dedicated quotation.

Carriage charges are shown exclusive of VAT, which is charged as appropriate. 

Upright and Grand Pianos, top-of-the-range digital pianos and large ex-display items will vary, dependent upon your address and access to the front door!  Please call us.

Surcharge for non-mainland UK deliveries

Scottish Highlands, Channel Islands, Isle of Man or N.Ireland as above, plus £6.00

Deliveries to other European countries in the Euro Zone
