Keyboard & Piano Repair services 2012

We have over 25 years' experience in dealing with portable keyboards and digital pianos, and our Service Department keeps stock of the most regularly required spares (e.g. keys, sockets, contacts, etc). This ensures we are able to offer a repair service for 90% of the faults found on these keyboards, and at the same time give a pretty accurate estimate of the costs involved.

A - 2012 Keyboard repair charges - (for basic 4-octave and 5-octave Yamaha and Casio models)
Standard Inspection Service - £35  + VAT = £42 (Schools £30 + VAT = £36 for 1 keyboard, reducing to £25 + VAT each for 3 keyboards - larger quantity prices on request.) This includes stripping down the instrument, cleaning/checking key contacts inside, testing and re-assembling - (first hour's work).

Non-Portable Digital Piano repairs
Clavinova and Roland pianos can also be serviced in the Devon and Cornwall area - we provide this service to schools, churches and private customers. Ask for a written estimate.

Plus Replacement Keys and Sockets £5 + VAT per key or socket (usually headphone socket, or power socket.)

Plus Collection and Redelivery service
We can arrange to collect a portable keyboard from you, but only if you have a suitable box and packaging, as we cannot be responsible for damage done in transit if the instrument is not properly protected. Modern carriers, with their automated parcel conveyor belts and shutes, will damage a delicate electronic keyboard if it is not adequately protected in a rigid box. Ask us for details of the cost of collection and redelivery of your instrument.

Over 90% of Yamaha or Casio keyboard repairs are covered by
these basic standard charges. If your instrument is in the other 10% (maybe it has suffered an accident and an internal board is cracked, or there's been a spillage), the cost of repair may be more than the value of the keyboard. If we have your contact number, after our standard inspection, we will advise before proceeding, so you can decide whether to carry out the repair, replace with an updated new keyboard, or scrap the instrument.
