Keyboards Direct

Founded by Nick Kilby and David Burrows in 1988, Keyboards Direct is a tech support company with a difference.  For over 23 years, this has incorporated an advisory service for keyboard enthusiasts who may not have had access to experienced help from their local shop when trying to select the right keyboard for their needs.

KD has always been staffed with highly experienced keyboard players who have two missions:-  1) to be able to provide technical help on today's hi-tech musical keyboards  and 2) to be able to give courteous, patient and helpful advice to those who may not be pro musicians or technical whizz-kids.  Backing up the tech support and advice with keen, keen prices has made us thousands of friends throughout the country.

In 1995 Keyboards Direct Ltd was incorporated as a company specialising in repairs and extended warranty arrangements, and undertook service work for countless schools and musicians.  Now, in the 21st Century, Keyboards Direct Ltd still runs a service department from offices in Devon, repairing Yamaha, Casio and Roland keyboards from the past 23 years.  Mark Waterfield has worked for Keyboards Direct since day one, and he and Nick Kilby provide most of the advice to keyboard players.  There are over 90,000 UK customers on the Keyboards Direct books, so we do not advertise further, as we have a steady stream of calls from recommendations from our friends and past customers over 22 years of trading.

As we have been handling Clavinova pianos and Roland digital pianos since the 1980's, we can often advise on faults, and repair non-portable instruments in Devon, Cornwall and Somerset.  Music Teachers are recommended to contact us by phone to talk about a maintenance contract to keep a busy (and perhaps accident-prone!) music department running efficiently.
