Rhythm Time

Rhythm Time is the percussion division of Starland Music, formed in 2003 to handle the expanded range of percussion instruments supplied.  Rhythm Time's buyers, Leanne Bailey, Nick Kilby and Emma Opie researched hundreds of products from manufacturers all over the world, seeking specific instruments which would be suitable for educational uses.  Educational products have to very affordable due to the constraints on school budgets, but they also have to be rugged enough to withstand the rigours of regular school usage.

Each year, models are reviewed for reliability and value, and against a standard of continuous improvement, models are updated from time to time.  Leanne wrote many of the product reviews, and more latterly Matt Epps has reviewed many more, and as experienced drummers and percussionists they were able to provide the candid opinions in the style of Starland's "We Think" description.

The Rhythm Time range of percussion instruments is well-known throughout Music education for great value-for-money instruments - achieved without the expensive veneer of the major brand names.
