A companion instrument to the Caixa (snare) drum, this highly tensioned side drum is usually played with one stick and a hand.

Alternative styles (eg Samba, Reggae) find the Repinique being used with a pair of nylon sticks. This model has a 12" head size, with a 30cm depth, and 8 double lugs on the rods.

Shoulder straps and sticks are not included.
