We Think

This is a traditional Chilean rainstick (50cm long) made from fallen cacti, and is a favourite with children. The cactus thorns are pressed into the centre of the stem and when the dried-corn filler trickles slowly from one end to the other, it produces the sound of pattering rain. The dried cactus stem is light and strong, making it easy to hold and play.
