Akai MPK-Mini

Typically of Akai, the build quality is solid and reliable and this wonderfully compact 'mini-keyed' USB/MIDI controller provides the usual features found on other manufacturers models but the MPK-Mini contoller features TOUCH SENSITIVE keys allowing users to add expression when playing in to music software such as Cubase, Ableton, Logic and Cakewalk.

There is no doubt that the MPK-Mini has been designed for those on the move or where desk space is limited. Akai have provided an on-board 'MIDI arpeggiator' for creating a range of quick arpeggiated effects with your software plugins (soft-synths). A handy program recall function is onboard too for instand personal setup selection.

Octave shifting is standard issue so the player can access athe full seven and a quarter octave range, and eight realtime knobs and velocity-sensitive pads for triggering samples.
