Alesis Q49

Alesis have a fine heritage in electronic musical instruments and for this, the Q49 USB MIDI controller, they have clearly aimed this model at those who want to record into their computers efficiently and quickly.

Bundled with Ableton Live Lite DAW software, the 49-note, velocity-sensitive Q49 is low-cost and has the minimum of features, yet built quality and reliability is ensured.

A simple octave shift button is featured along with pitch/mod wheels, and the octave shift button doubles as a control change (cc) function as well as other key features such as velocity and program change.

USB bus powered, essential connections such as sustain pedal socket and MIDI are featured. So, no frills here then, just reliable simplicity at a great low price and the Q49 is also supplied with a DVD-ROM, USB cable and quick-start guide.

The Q49 has just about enough scope to play more varied musical styles across it's 49-note, touch-sensitive keyboard.
