This model is considered to be 'the school recorder'. It still has the same mellow tone and is easy to play as an introductory instrument. Sometimes younger players find it difficult to hold the recorder whilst playing, so Aulos have supplied a thumbrest to help the student, and it can be placed at the point where it's needed. However, if the player is more comfortable without it, then it can simply slide off. This is the best value recorder in the Aulos range.
