Casio CDP100

A low-cost model with fully-weighted keys is difficult to find, yet Casio have thought about the important aspects when designing this model.

An authentic key action together with reasonable sound quality - the CDP100 is the result. Supplied with a sustain pad, the CDP100 provides nothing more than 5 tones which is in many cases a good thing as students will not be tempted to expreiment with drums and synth sounds - because there aren't any onboard!

Although it's portable, with just a headphone socket as standard (no line outs), this is definitely a home practice model and therefore not suitable for live performance use.

We would happily recommend this as a low-cost beginners model, as the key action is good.
