Korg X50

The Korg X50 music synthesiser turns up the heat on entry-level models, and boasts amazing, modern music-making tools, extraordinary looks, combined with an entry-level price point.

Its predecessor (the X5d) was supplied by us to many schools and universities, as it was a one-stop solution for computer music users with good PCM-based sounds.

The compact X50 however, now provides voices by way of the mighty 'HI' sound processing found on the professional Korg Triton series synthesisers.

64Mb of wave ROM gives amazingly complex 'combination' voices, but pianos, strings and other 'real-world' sounds are catered for, including multiple drum sets.

Connecting to a computer for multi-track recording is by way of USB, and the X50 also offers programmable DUAL arpeggiators (never before found in a synth at this price point), as well as up to FOUR simultaneous effects combinations.
