Roland RP301

Roland's RP301 classical digital piano is the gateway to decades of digital piano research and development and this model provides many sampled elements from an real acoustic which culminate in a rich, authentic sound.

This technology is inspired by Roland's flagship 'V-piano' technology and brings a new level of authentic sound and natural performance to this price point.

Add to this Roland's acclaimed PHA alpha ii key action which provides an authentic 'weighted' feel, and the rich and dynamic piano tones are heard through it's built-in 12-watt speakers which are suited to the classroom (not performance) in terms of output level.  Having said this, the RP301 does have both line ins and outs, so connecting to a amplifier at school or church is possible.

For those who wish to compose, the RP301 provides a simple onboard recorder which saves in Standard MIDI File format (SMF). Although there is no USB connection to be found, MIDI sockets are provided and saving songs to a computer will require a Roland UM1-G MIDI-USB converter cable.

The RP-301 is available in Rosewood and a piano bench is NOT included, so please ask us about an optional RPS-10 rise & fall piano stool.
