A 50's looks meets Shure quality and reliability, the 55SH-2 'retro-mic' is a professional model suited to lead vocal, spoken word or backing vocals.

With a metalbody, this microphone has a cardioid (unidirectional) polar pickup pattern which is employed to minimize sound pickup from the rear of the microphone. This allows the Model 55SH (Series II) to be used in close proximity to loudspeakers without creating feedback!

This is a superb quality cardioid dynamic model with a frequency response of 50-15000kHz.
