Tascam DR07Mkii

Tascam's low-cost, high quality high quality MP3/wav recorder and, whilst it's design looks like other branded models, it has one or two features not found on others.

A ' key control' for example allows users to alter the pitch (not the tempo) of the file playback which is a superb idea for those who are practicing an acoustic instrument and require high quality backing tracks. Using the DR07's 'VSA' function also allows tempo control without affecting the key on playback too.

Selectable record frequencies too are available for those who are concerned about saving memory, although a huge 2-Gb SD card is included.

Powered by 2 x AA batteries and supplied with a windshield for those out 'in the field', the integral stereo condensor mics are very high quality and optional extras include padded case and power supply unit.

Great for rehearsals or recording sounds for importing into music software apps such as Cubase or wavelab.
