Tascam's DR2D is a super-high quality pocket digital recorder capturing recordings at a staggering 96kHz, courtesy of a superb new stereo condenser microphone.

The DR2D is different from other pocket recorders with it's unique 'dual recording' function which records a copy of your recording at a lower volume. If the original volume 'jumps', you have a backup, rather than a distorted recording - Brilliant!

Slightly larger than most, yet built more ruggedly, the overall design and looks is eye catching, and the DR2D has 'proper buttons' as well as a jog wheel for quick access of files, playable directly via the DR2D's built-in speaker.

Why not apply one of the multitude of effects (reverb for example) on playback too?

Importantly, a 'line' mode allows the DR2D to record a signal via its line input, AS WELL as recording through the built-in mics. Brilliant for when recording a live performance, as you can record from a mixing desk whilst capturing the live ambient sound via the microphones! 

Supplied with a 2Gb SD card and ideal for recording school band rehearsals or concerts as well as a host of other applications, the DR2D is a very high spec, high quality digital recorder.
