Now here’s a model which has improved beyond recognition over the last fifteen years, and this new version now benefts from some features which you’d expect to find on intermediate models. 

The UK-based Trevor James factory has now added improvements to quieten the mechanism, improve the headjoint and seals and uses a triple-plating technique which improves the adherence of the silver plating to the body.  This student flute outfit does have the split E mechanism, silver-plated head & body.  Excellent value for a would-be flautist!
