An exquisite portable piano, the Yamaha P155 (this version features a Cherryood  top)is the 'must have' model for choirs, conductors and stage users, with a host of easy to use features.

A leap forward too over its highly successful predecessor (the P140), the P155 now uses the benchmark 'Pure CF' sampling engine adopted by the mighty Clavinova digital piano range.

Lightweight at 18.6Kg, the superb P-155 has proved to be our most popular portable model - Yamaha really could NOT have designed anything better at this price point and we recommend it to players of all abilities, but especially where a digital, lightweight model is required in a live environment for stage/church/school performance. This is due to the fact that the P-155 is the first model to feature stereo line outputs, allowing it to be connected to a PA system or 'combo' amplifier for extra volume where needed.

A lovely collection of sounds include two pianos, two electic pianos, harpsichord, vibes strings, guitar and a couple of basses - Most of these have variations and can be enhanced with the onboard effects.

A two-track recorder is onboard and exports your songs as SMF format to an optional memorystick. When using the P-155 for performance, this is a handy feature if the live player is unable to attend the performance as the show can go on provided the songs required have previously been recorded and stored to memorystick !
