Like all of Yamaha's APX guitars, the APX700ii has been designed for optimum performance and tone for live and studio performace.

The solid spruce top - known for its warm, mature overtones is partnered by Nato back and sides and delivers a rich voicing, with a beautiful long ringing sustain.

This is a glorious revised (Mk ii) model, with a newly designed one-way pick-up system with 2 pick-ups under the saddle, combined with an effective 3-band EQ (with built-in tuner) provides a perfect amplified sound for any situation.

The APX700ii has a thin-line body for comfort, easy top-fret access and a sound perfectly suited to on-stage use with bright, clear mids, balanced highs and controlled lows. Specially designed non-scalloped X-type bracing allows the guitar’s top to sing and maximizes the resonance of the unique body shape for a full, natural tone.
