Yamaha YTS480s (Silver)

The YTS480s (available here in a beautiful silver plate lacquer), employs decades of Yamaha design, with ultra-high levels of craftsmanship throughout. The YTS480s tenor offers the player a better response and less resistance throughout the registers, as well as producing a full and warm sound.

There is a stronger support strap along the seam on the underside of the crook, which helps with the instrument's warm sound and durability. Other adjustments made to the sax include a new key guard design, which has been split into two covering the low C, B & Bb key cups making the instrument more resistant to damage.

Featuring a bell guard, with the adjustable key bumpers, and you can customise your sound by opening and closing the venting on the lower keys. Other features include the C#/Bb link with its gliding motion and the auxiliary front F teardrop key mechanism, which helps with fingering technique.
