watch Supplied with a mains adaptor, the PSRE363 provides composers with a 5-song recorder (2-tracks) song recorder, and important educational features such as registration memories (x9), and split / layer features are standard issue on an instrument of this 'progressive' level.
The PSRE363 employs a staggering variety of onboard voices, from orchestral sounds, through to synths, guitars, brass, woodwind and drums, whilst the rhythm accompaniments include traditional styles, mixed with modern day dance types and even ethnic styles.
The PSRE363 is now finished in black, and adopts a sleek chassis whilst sporting small bass boost ports to project a richer bass output, whilst an LCD display sits in the middle and helps with navigation of the sounds, digital effects, rhythms, registration memories and split/layer and harmony effects.
The keyboards 'action' feels firm and is touch-sensitive to allow students to play with a level of expression (similar to a piano) and, for those who wish to use this model with Cubase, Sibelius, Garage Band etc, the PSRE363 works brilliantly (PC and Mac drivers available to download). It's easy to use at beginner level too and, as with all Yamaha keyboards, navigation is very logical
The PSR-E363 supports streaming audio from an i-Pod via a minijack socket on the rear panel, allowing the user to play their favourite tracks through the 2.5w speakers.
