John Packer's JP174MKII Bb euphonium outfit is a step up from the JP074 student model.

This superb 4 valve non-compensating Bb euphonium design boasts a lacquer finish and a 4th valve which gives access to the lower notes but without the extra weight of a fully compensating instrument! Made entirely from yellow brass and built to last, its robust construction has made it popular with schools, music services and training bands.

This student model has a gold lacquer finish and rose brass leadpipe, together with an 11" bell for good projection. The design incorporates bottom sprung valves for a smooth and free action, and the JP174Mkii is supplied with a JP mouthpiece and case.
