Casio LK-S250 (Lighting Keys)

A 5-octave USB entertainment model for those learning to play, the CT-S250 sees the inclusion of Lighting Keys which guide the player to play the correct notes when playing with built-in songs. The good news is that the lights can be turned off when the player becomes experienced! If yuo feel lighting keys are not necessary, we would suggest either Casio's CTK-3500 or CT-S300 models.

Battery or mains powered (see below for optional power supply), this portable design is a 5-octave USB (micro B) model with 400 voices, 77 accompaniment rhythms a retro design, and simple button interface. The LK-S250 also boasts a Dance Music mode allowing you can create amazing dance tracks and remix them on the spot simply by pressing different key combinations. There are 50 modern dance music styles to choose from, including House, Hip-Hop and EDM.

With newly designed speakers and 61 touch-sensitive full-sized keys, the LK-S250 has an uncluttered interface, with just the essentials at hand in the form of large, firm buttons and an LCD for quick navigation.

A host of connections are available including a microphone input allowing your voice to be heard via the speakers, as well as an auxillary input for streaming your track list from your i-Pod for example. A headphone socket (3.5mm MINI jack) is available for silent practice.

The latest technologies are employed for the voicing, and the extended range of 400 onboard sounds are authentic and inspiring. There is even a General MIDI (GM) set of voices too for those who wish to stream MIDIfiles from a computer.
