Jumbie Jam (JJ1058)

Supplied with a modular plastic stand and a pair of mallets, this is an authentic designed pan to encourage the young musician to have fun whilst learning the distinctive sounds of Caribbean music. 

Made in the USA, each Jumbie Jam steel pan includes the height-adjustable stand (with its distinctive detachable feet), a pair of mallets and an attractive coloured steel drum which sounds astonishingly authentic!

These steel pans are remarkably well in tune too (this has always been a problem with steel pans) and the notes (which are marked) ring clear and true.

Jumbie Jams are pitched in G, and unlike other mini-pans, they are available with a selection of resources for the classroom teacher.  We have a teacher's course and an extensive range of song books available currently.

Assembly is straightforward, and the lightweight stand is detachable and folds away into its handy carry-box.  It's really lightweight (4Kg), and comes in a stackable box which is very efficient for storing in classrooms with limited storage space.
