Wittner Metronome BM2182

A full-sized traditional clockwork pyramid metronome, in simulated walnut grain casing, without bell.

The Wittner company have been producing precision, mechanical metronomes for well over 100 years and the classic pyramid design is something of a style icon.

Spanning the generations, the traditional Wittner metronome has been in continuous production for decades and still a very popular accessory for all instrumentalists.

The metronome has a solid, plastic case which has a grained walnut finish. The front triangle pops off to reveal the pendulum where, via a sliding dial, you can select the desired speed of the metronome.

The click is a satisfying, mechanical sound which is much more pleasing than the digital beep of cheaper electronic metronomes. Inside the unit there is a precision wind-able movement which is wound using a small key which you insert into the side of the case. 

This model has a variety of speeds - from 40bpm to 208bpm and is a brilliant addition to any music room, practice studio or study.
