The Bodhrán is a mid 19th century hand percussion instrument, most commonly associated with traditional Irish music but is also now widely heard throughout Celtic folk music.

It is a simple instrument, a frame drum with a goat skin head that is played with a 'tipper' or beater. It is capable of a variety of sounds and clicks and this particular model is authentic and traditionally made in Ireland.

Supplied with a beater and bag.
