The PGA57 'Alta' is a specially-produced budget version of the famous SM57, which is similarly designed for use with instruments, more than vocals.

Ideal also for miking up guitar amplifiers, this versatile mic is also happy amplifying acoustic instruments like classical guitars, brass and woodwind. Its frequency range is 70 - 15000 Hz, and the mic has an on/off switch for convenience. We supply this with a XLR-XLR cable, mic clip and bag.

This model is recommended for brass, acoustic guitar, bass amps and certain drums.
