Yamaha YCL255s

This student clarinet has been redesigned, building upon the success of the previous decade of the model YCL250s, yet by making the bell a little lighter by taking off the metal ring, it seems to be that much easier to handle, particularly for young players. 

The latest revision (YCL255s) is made from durable ABS resin they are easy to handle and with the new adjustable thumb-rest and improved strap ring, they are now more comfortable to play.  It still has the accurate intonation and immediate response of past models, to help students to produce a round sound.

The nickel-silver key-work is well designed and offers a smooth well regulated playing experience. It is also incredibly strong which should mean less trips to the woodwind technician!
The instrument is supplied as an outfit which includes a nicely made CLC-200EII case, a Yamaha 4C mouthpiece, ligature and cleaning materials.
This model is justifiably a favourite among teachers and music professionals and comes highly recommended.
