Yamaha U3S

The U3 is a professional upright piano, favoured by concert pianists, music colleges and conservatoires the world over. It has a huge 131cm case and longer bass strings; the soundboard has also been redesigned and given a new 'floating support' - all these improvements combine to produce a deeper and richer tonal quality.

Although invisible to the eye, the keys on the U3 are also longer, making for a more responsive action, and the hammers have a triple-felt design.

These subtleties help the player create a wider range of dynamics with greater ease. The middle pedal on the U3s has also been upgraded and becomes a sostenuto pedal

This is very much a piano for professional pianists and teachers who don't have the room for a grand piano, and it is also ideal for music colleges and piano enthusiasts everywhere.
