This is Yamaha's intermediate trombone, which is lightweight, has a slick and easy slide action with nickel-plated parts where the player would hold the trombone, making it more durable whilst maintaining its aesthetic qualities.

For a student starting off, it's important that the instrument is easy blowing, and this model certainly meets this criteria. The YSL354E tenor trombone comes with the usual fittings such as a slide lock, a 204.4mm yellow-brass bell and a 12.7mm bore. Special care has been taken to give the instrument excellent balance while playing, combining with a resonant sound to give the developing player a solid base for exploring the capabilities of the instrument.
