This privacy policy sets out how Starland Music Ltd uses and protects any information that you give us when you use this website.
Our company is PCI compliant, approved by Security Metrics in August 2014, and updated and approved each year. Starland Music Ltd has also been registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) with registration reference Z9318270 since 27th March 2006 and re-registered each year with current registration expiring 26th March 2024.

What we do with the information we gather
We require this minimal amount of information to understand your institution's needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:
Internal record keeping of all transactions made by the Customer, to be able to send invoice copies and answer questions from Finance Officers about the institution's past business.
We may use the information to improve the range and selection of our products and services.
We may periodically send promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided.

Sale information will include essential details of address and primary contact to enable our couriers and fulfillment partners to deliver your order. Your email address and delivery address will be shared with our warehouse partners Frederick Hyde Ltd and couriers (Parcelforce, UPS, DPD, TNT, Royal Mail) to enable us to send you delivery and tracking notifications.
From time to time, we may also use your information to contact you by email, phone or by post.

Social media policy
Starland Music Ltd is a specialist Education Supplies company running accounts with many schools, colleges and institutions. We have no interest in keeping individuals' profile information,"likes" or other marketing information, and do not use the company's Twitter and Facebook accounts, to avoid any data entered by our customers inadvertantly being harvested by Facebook, Twitter or social media companies that they deal with.
