Akai LPD8 Mkii

A superbly compact control surface for those who record with music software and a keyboard, who do not have access to realtime contols.

Particularly useful for 'mobile' electronic composers with a laptop, the LPD8 is only 13 inches across and weighs less than a pound!

The LPD8 has eight orange light-up pads that are velocity sensitive for programming rhythmic or melodic parts. The pads can also send program-change information to software.

 Additionally, the LPD8 Mkii has eight assignable Q-Link knobs you can assign to virtually any parameters in their software, and it even has four user memorybanks to instantly recall user setups.
