Conn-Selmer 'Band Time' 501FH

Despite its modest price, the 'Band Time' Bb flugel horn is packed with advanced features which are ideal for the progressing player.

The gold brass lead pipe certainly looks the part, it has a slightly darker colour due to the higher copper content, but it produces a fantastic direct tonal quality which suites the band environment perfectly.

The monel piston valves are responsive and coupled with the smooth 3rd valve slide enables the player to really delve into a solo or some more complicated piece of music.
The clear lacquer is hard wearing and sets the flugal off nicely and the ever reliable 7C mouthpiece is brilliantly free blowing too.

The instrument is supplied with a smart 'Conn-Selmer' branded lightweight case. Inside, the plush soft lining protects the flugal Horns's lacquer finish.

The outfit also includes cleaning materials and rucksack-style straps which can be attached to the case securely as and when required.
