MMX Performer 4/4

A stunning hand-carved spruce top model (violin ONLY supplied), with two-piece maple back and sides.

Part of the MMX masters series of instruments, this violin is hand carved by the luthiers in the MMX workshop Beijing with superb attention to detail.

The spruce top has a fine even grain and the maple used is nicely flamed giving the instrument a superb appearance and a lovely tone. The MMX Performer violin has a rosewood tailpiece, chin rest, ebony pegs and end pin. The instrument is hand varnished with a chestnut brown oil-based varnish and given an antique finish. The final set up and preparation is performed by our in-house string experts. The soundpost is set to the correct position, the bridge adjusted to fit the top of the violin perfectly, and the pegs worked in to allow maximum stability and ease of tuning.
