Although we do not normally recommend a multi-point mains transformer in the classroom, there are sure to be times when power sockets in a classroom are limited, and therefore this multi-power unit could be the solution.

This model will provide power to up to eight 9-volt entry-level Yamaha keyboards simultaneously (up to a total of 4.2 amp), and is supplied with 8 x 3m DC-DC cables and a single mains lead which connects to a single power point in the classroom.

Wth more powerful Yamaha keyboard models (PSRE400 series and above), fewer keyboards can be powered, especially if headphones are NOT being used.

With modern day classrooms designed with multiple power points within the walls, we would normally recommend Yamaha's KPA3/EPA3 separate mains adaptors with 4-way extension blocks.
