Tanglewood Crossroads Dreadnought (TWCRD)

Tanglewood's super value (larger) dreadnought body shape, with mahogany top with mahogany back and sides. Finished in 'Whiskey Barrel Burst' Satin finish.

Master Scandinavian designer and luthier, Michael Sanden, hand selected the finest mahogany to craft the Tanglewood Crossroads series of acoustic guitars. Inspired by the understated, simple design of instruments during the economic downfall of 1930’s era in America, where the selection of the highest quality tonewoods was fundamental.

The resulting guitars were deep and rich in tone whilst remaining affordable.

Michael took this concept and hand selected the timbers, making the tops a precise measurement so they flex and respond to the players attack. He then braced the instrument with his own patterns to give each guitar its own personality.

The finished product is a guitar with amazing playability and would have the sound that any musician, professional or amateur could appreciate.
