The established C40 was a popular classical model among guitar teachers and the latest C40Mkii version show here has improvements throughout.

A 4/4 size nylon strung classical guitar that Yamaha has created spefically for the young learner, with selective woods to provide an authentic classical guitar tone!

This instrument provides an gorgeous tone for it's size, and is very playable and comfortable to use. This is an instrument that will encourage learners to practice, and practice, and practice - and always want to come back for more!

The C40ii features a genuine rosewood fingerboard and bridge.
