A revolutionary new hybrid saxophone? Yamaha's YDS150 boasts cutting edge electronic technologies and combines it with the keywork of a traditional sax....

The result is a stunning looking instrument with an onboard array of instrument 73 sounds (including 56 sax voices), and can be played in the key of Bb, Eb and C.

Shaped like a soprano, players will receive tactile feedback and resonance, just like an acoustic instrument and, with a yellow brass gold lacquer finish, the YDS150 can be tuned to 427.0Hz〜440.0Hz〜453.0Hz, approx. 0.5Hz increments. Of course, it has the same fingering same as saxophone, with high-F#, Front-F and Low-A.

USB compatible (yes, you could coonect to your favourite music software and input in realtime - superb with notation software such as Sibelius), the YDS150 is USB bus OR battery powered, and iteven lets you edit settings and adjust controls with the dedicated smartphone app!
