This low cost 'Handy Recorder' with X/Y configured mics, WAV record, onboard reference speaker & LCD display is a 'must have' for Music Teachers or IT specialists who are required to capture school performances or rehearsals, the H1E has been made even easier to navigate teh various menus with an OLED monochrome screen.

The Zoom H1E guarantees superb audio recordings of your 'subject', in the form of WAV file format. With 24-bit resolutions up to 96kHz, Zoom have seen fit to include a handy onboard speaker for playback anywhere.

With 2-track recording and playback the H1E now has a speed control (without affecting pitch), which is useful for those listening to recorded interviews, or for transcribing musicians.

An mini stereo mic/line input lets you record with your external microphones or other sound sources, and supplies plug-in power (2.5 volts). You can connect headphones via the mini headphone output with dedicated volume control. 

With storage support for SD/SDHC cards up to a whopping 1TB, the H1E features a pair of sophisticated high quality condenser microphones (unidirectional condenser, 90° XY stereo format), with superb clarity.

Battery powered with up to 10 hours continuous use on two AAA batteries, it is compact and small enough to keep in a pocket
