Buffet BC8102 B♭ Tenor Saxophone Outfit

This Buffet 100 series tenor saxophone is an excellent beginner to intermediate sax. It has accurate intonation, and due to the ribbed body and metal resonators, a well centred tone quality.

Build quality is superb, the ribbed manufacture of the body concentrates and directs the airflow which ensures the instrument is free blowing - which is excellent for the beginner - but also gives it a wonderful woody and resonant sound which encourages the progressing student and gives more than a flavour of the professional sax sound. The blue steel springs give a reliable and easy action which makes the keywork smooth and responsive for the young beginner and the whole appearance of the instrument is further enhanced with mother-of-pearl key buttons, a well finished lacquer and hand engraving on the bell.

This sax comes with a particularly high-quality case which has a wooden frame and a hard-wearing blue material outer. The case is fastened with a zip but is further secured with 2 plastic clips. It comes complete with a handle but also back-pack style straps.

The outfit comes complete with a mouthpiece, ligature and strap but don’t forget to add a pack of reeds!
