Yamaha YTS82Z

A completely new Custom model from Yamaha designed in conjunction with Michael Brecker and Phil Woods, two most of the most highly regarded jazz saxophonists. This instrument is designed for those looking for a very powerful and a slightly brighter sound - particularly suited to jazz players. The design of this sax is very similar to the YTS875EX, in that it features the new hand-finished G1 crook, with its wider taper producing a more open sound. The left hand low Bb key has been made more angular, so that it is easier to reach those bottom left hand keys. A great little feature has been markedly improved - the attachment ring has been enlarged and is now made from nickel silver which should stop it from wearing away! This also helps when doubling up as it is quicker and easier to switch from one instrument to another. Along with the very powerful sound that this saxophone produces, as with all other Yamaha models, it remains very free blowing.
