Majestic Concert Fibreglass Timp 32"

The Majestic concert series 32" fibreglass pedal timpani is the first blocked pedal system timpani that is really easy to transport.

A double wheel set on the front makes the timpani stable when being transported.

These timpani are uniquely designed to have a flat bottom when the legs are folded up, so they can be stored upright instead of on the head. And as a finishing touch they feature the newly designed, smoothest pedal system on the market.

These innovations in combination with the deep cambered kettles will convince every timpani player.

Features

Deep cambered kettle are manufactured from fibreglass -reinforced polyester (FRP). These kettles produce a warm and dark sound. At special request the instruments can be equipped with deep cambered (hammered) copper kettles.

A completely new design of the blocked pedal system renders the pedal action exceptionally light. The uniquely designed spring system ensures smooth pedal action over the full range of almost one octave.

A total of four feet make these timpani very stable when being played. For transportation these feet slide into the kettle so the instruments can easily be stored upright instead of on the head because of the flat bottom. The two front legs are connected and have castors for easy transport on stage.

Concert Series timpani are equipped with the well known and eye-pleasing Majestic tuning gauges, which are extremely accurate and easy adjustable.

The two connected front feet of Majestic Concert timpani are equipped with tall braking castors which lock them in place during playing and make them easy to transport afterwards.

The Concerts have a range of almost 1 octave each and come in the following sizes: 20", 23", 26”, 29” and 32”. Like all other Majestic timpani, they can be ordered in either American or German set up. Tuning gauges will be placed accordingly.

The heads used are standard white REMO® timpani heads. At an extra charge REMO Renaissance™ heads can be mounted. The frame is made of cast aluminum and laser cut steel so the timpani remains pleasantly light.
