With this series of timpani, Yamaha have tried to combine the ease of portability alongside a rich enough sound to carry across a concert hall. The hand-spun kettles are made of aluminium which not only produces a big sound but helps to reduce the weight factor and is therefore easier to transport. It has a moveable tuning gauge for American or German set up and has adjustable tilt positioning for comfortable playing.

Featuring a Remo Renaissance head, tuning the timp is made much easier by the smooth, quiet pedal (which folds for storage or transportation).
