The student series of MMX instruments offer unrivalled value for money. Each instrument is expertly hand crafted by the luthiers in the Gua Fang Wang workshop in Beijing with superb attention to detail.

The cello is made from select spruce, maple and ebony to ensure the best possible tone. The last stage in the manufacture of these instruments is hand applying an oil based varnish. Unlike other cellos at this price point which are usually finished with a plastic type lacquer, the oil varnish gives a very desirable antique gloss to the instrument, and works with the wood to further enhance the tone of the instrument. 

Prefitted with a set of D'addario prelude strings as we think that an instrument of this quality deserves better than the cheap strings that competing cellos in this price range usually come with!

The cello comes complete as an outfit and as well as being supplied fully set up, it includes a professional quality MMX carbon fibre bow, padded gig bag and rosin.
